Azerbaijani artist, actress Fatma Mehraliova (04.06.1926 - 04.01.2000) whose immense popularity in the 1940s,'50s and ’60s allowed her to achieve the highest levels of popularity. She was so talented that alongside her performances in theater and movies, Fatma Mehraliova provided her voice to several Azerbaijani films. Fatma delivered many songs in the Azerbaijani language.
Looking for a multi-talented artist is not easy. But Fatma Mehraliova was a multi-faceted artist. She began her career in art as a teenager in many stages for the sake of success, appearing alongside other artists who had the same desires and will to accomplish their dreams in this artistic profession.
Following her appearance in different stages, Fatma mehraliova continued to do more and work hard in order to introduce herself to the powerful people within the entertainment industry in Azerbaijan. During the 1940s,'50s and '60s, Fatma Mehraliova performed her works in the Azerbaijan's Musical & Kino-Theater industries.

Following the breakthrough in an ensemble entitled "Sazchi gizlar" (1940, "Girls playing saz") Fatma Mehraliova was able to conquer the hearts of the Azeri people and hence attracted the attentions of the art industry in Azerbaijan. Fatma Mehraliova revolutionised the world of "Kesme Shikestesi songs".

She was wonderful. She was a great and talented artist in any meaning. Her artistic life lived for approval of the Azerbaijani people who loved her. The love to her performances made a bridge for connecting the hearts of people to the heart of their beloved Fatma mehraliova. She became a phenomenal and successful woman in her profession.
It is worth to say that Fatma Meharliova achieved accomplishments unrivalled by any other artists who delved into the shallow river to hunt a precious pearl. Fatma in her artistic activities had an "itch" that deep understanding towards arts scratched this itch. The scale of a continuing legacy of Fatma Mehraliova was remarkable in the real sense and meaning.
Starring the role of "Telli" in the film "Arshyn Mal Alan" (1945) was an "aha moment" for embracing of success for Fatma Mehraliova in her native country in Azerbaijan. This great Azeri artist was known for continuously reinventing herself in multi dimensionality of her profession.

No doubt that Fatma Mehraliova attained immense popularity thath she deserved because of her excellent accomplishments. Mehraliova was an industrious artist and didn't want to accept any boundary for her goals. She pushed the boundaries out of her way.
Many artists have praised Fatma Mehraliova's diverse songs, especially her "Kesme Shikestesi", "Yeri-Yeri-Dam Uestuendan-Yeri" and "SEGAH" as well as her excellent roles in the films and theater.
Fatma Mehraliova lived 73 years and 7 months. Total Months of her life: 883 months. Total weeks of her life:3839.6 weeks. The whole days of her life were: "Twenty-six-thousands and eight- hundred-seventy-seven days". She lived only 26,877 days from her birth to the day of her death.
On 15.10.2008, Mansour Eldar (Мансуров Эльдар)from Baku (Azerbaijan) wrote about Fatma Mehraliova in a Russian website "kino-teatr.ru":
"Фатма Мехралиева у себя на родине прежде всего известна как великолепная певица мугамов и народных песен. Наряду с этим, она также прекрасно исполняла роли в фильмах, на которые была приглашена. В частности, она была исполнительницей роли Телли, в первой постановке фильма "Аршин мал алан", по одноименной оперетте Узеира Гаджибекова,в 40-х годах."
Translation:
"Fatma mehralieva at her home in Azerbaijan was primarily known as a great singer in mugham music and as well as in Azerbaijani folk songs. Along with this, she also performed beautifully in the films to which she was invited. In particular, she was the performer of the role of "Telly" in the first production of the film "Arshin Mal Alan" on the operetta of the same name Uzeyir Hajibeyov in the 40s."
